Convened a Spring Fundraiser at Francis Kite Club, in partnership with Output Field.
Held Community Farm Crew events at Gentle Time Farm and Choy Division.
Hosted a season-end ceremonial dinner for site leads and partners at Potluck Club.
Kaija, Salt, and Christina travel to Taiwan as part of an Asian American Farmer Delegation with Taiwan Food and Farm Tour.
2024 (SPRING TO FALL)
Formalized Choy Commons as an LLC and worker-owned cooperative. Salt Wang, Amanda Wong, and Kaija Xiao become co-owners.
Refined Choy Commons Wholesale, adopted software (Local Food Marketplace). Refined a collaborative trucking route in partnership with Essex Food Hub and Catskills Agrarian Alliance.
Convened a Spring Opening at Performance Space New York, featuring musical performances, food, a communal altar, and dancing.
Held Community Farm Crew events at Gentle Time Farm and Choy Division.
Held "To Farmers and Chinatown, With Love" fundraiser in partnership with Send Chinatown Love at Land to Sea.
Collaborated on "Anti-Imperialist Gathering" at Honey's in partnership with Catskills Agrarian ALliance, FIG NYC, 18 Milliion Rising, Asians 4 Palestine NYC
2023 (SPRING TO FALL)
Convened "Spring Gathering" at Egg w/ AAPI food sovereignty/justice organizers of New York.
Star Route Farm and Gentle Time Farm became collaborators.
Choy Commons Wholesale is launched, with a focus on food pantries and restaurants (built on spreadsheets).
Gentle Time Farm opened a CSA in partnership with AAFE East Harlem, supported by Glynwood.
Opened Community Farm Crew, held community farming events at Choy Division.
Campaigned and won funding from Gold House's Gold Futures Challenge.
Collaborated on Mid-Autumn Festival in partnership with Nha Minh and Resonator Arts (fundraiser recipient).
Hosted a season-end ceremonial kimjang with community partners at Insa.

Project initiated at National Young Farmer's Coalition Convergence Conference. Founded by Christina Chan, Anna Pelavin, Larry Tse, and Nicole Yeo.
